The Canadian Screen Award for Best Achievement in Make-Up is an annual award presented by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television to the best make-up artist(s) in a Canadian film or television production. The award recognizes exceptional achievement in the areas of make-up design, application and execution. The eligibility criteria for the award include a significant contribution to the overall quality and impact of the production. The nominees are selected by a jury and the winner is determined through the voting process by members of the Academy. The award has been presented since 2013 and some of the past winners include make-up artists from acclaimed Canadian productions such as Schitt’s Creek, Kim’s Convenience, Orphan Black, and Maudie.
